Accu-Sort introduces another product in our industrial DOS- based computer family, the 5800 Flex. The 5800 Flex is a DOS-based controller providing flexibility in integrating complete systems to a wide variety of customer applications.
The 5800 Flex can multiplex serial communications data, perform system control functions, and provide number-crunching ability in industrial environments.
The unit's Accu-Sort designed motherboard contains a PC/104 connector for modular expansion. This allows for the use of any PC-based option available in the increasingly popular PC/104 form factor.
A PCMCIA slot is also available, further broadening the range of options. All hardware is contained in a NEMA 12 industrial enclosure, and an optional stainless steel NEMA 4 washdown enclosure also is available.
