The standard configuration provides a 1-inch depth of field. An optional configuration featuring a 4-inch depth of field expands the possible applications to include sorting and returns processing of CDs, VHS tapes, and audiocassettes. Using Accu-Sort's APC100 Decoder, the AV1220 decodes all the standard linear bar codes and two-dimensional symbols commonly used in high-speed material handling applications. Gray scale images provided by the AV1220 are of superior quality and are excellent input for OCR and video coding peripherals.
