Offerings of the Series 5000 include a large capacitor backed memory base of up to 768K. An optional 64K of Flash memory is also included for file validation and local editing and scheduling functions. In addition to operating in standard EIA communication formats, the Series 5000 is TCP/IP Ethernet 10 base-T compatible.
