environmental sealing and power protection, the 2480 Series
terminal is designed to withstand all the punishment your
shop floor can deliver. Beyond its ruggedness, the 2480
Series delivers timely, accurate data for your mission critical
manufacturing systems.

with a variety of keypad, memory, storage and connectivity

Expanded Functionality
To expand the functionality of the 2480
Series, two ports for bar code input devices and a serial
port to connect a printer or scale have been included. Theres
also an optional integrated badge scanner, digital input/output
and two additional serial ports to accommodate even the
most demanding data collection requirements.
Flexible Configurations
The 2480 Series provides the configuration
flexibility you need. Choose Ethernet, wireless or serial
connections to your enterprise system. With the 2.4 GHz
wireless models, you can easily change configurations of
manufacturing work cells. The 2480 Series supports client/server
and terminal emulation host environments. Its also compatible
with Intermec CrossBar networks.
