moisture, the rugged and dependable Intermec 2485 stationary
batch computer is built for ease of use in demanding environments.
Protected by a tamperproof case, the 2485 sports a range
of options for keyboards, memory, storage and connectivity,
making it a flexible solution for data collection applications
including process tracking, labor collection, and time
and attendance.

With a compact die cast aluminum case,
environmental sealing and power protection, the 2485 Series
terminal is designed to withstand all the punishment your
shop floor can deliver. Beyond its ruggedness, the 2485
Series delivers timely, accurate data for your mission critical
manufacturing systems.
Flexible Configurations
The 2485 provides the configuration flexibility
you need. With 2.4 GHz wireless connectivity, you can easily
change configurations of manufacturing work cells. The 2485
also supports client/server and terminal emulation host
environments. It's also compatible with Intermec CrossBar
networks.
Industry Standard Development Tools
You can dramatically reduce development
time and cost for creating shop floor solutions of the 2485
Series Terminal by using industry standard, Microsoft C/C++,
or with EZBuilder, Intermec's rapid application development
tool.
Expanded Functionality
To expand the functionality of the 2485,
two ports for bar code input devices and a serial port to
connect a printer or scale have been included. There's also
an optional integrated badge scanner, digital input/output
and two additional serial ports to accommodate even the
most demanding data collection requirements.
