Unitech MR350 Data Collection Terminal

MR350MKII is a rugged, versatile, yet affordable data collection terminal that supports a wide range of input devices, including bar code slot reader, magnetic stripe reader and proximity reader. The optional built-in Ethernet board provides enhanced connectivity via TCP/IP, allowing the MR350MKII to be part of your local or wide network. Serial RS232 and multi-point RS485 connections are standard. Also, an optional internal modem board may be added for remote communications.

The terminal’s multiple I/O ports and interfaces make it an ideal solution for complex systems. Two relay outputs control external devices such as doors and bells, and four photo-coupled inputs provide sensing of alarms, motion sensors or counters. There is a secondary scanner port to add external readers. The durable keypad is user replaceable and can be customized according to a personalized design.

The MR350MKII is DOS compatible meaning it can run programs written using Microsoft C++, Turbo C, and Borland C compilers. A free DLL library for C++, Visual BASIC, Delphi and FoxPro is also available upon request. Simple applications can be generated with JobGen Pro, our application development tool. The MR350MKII’s features and affordability make it ideal for various environments and applications, such as Time and Attendance, Loyalty Programs, Security Patrol, Access Control and Work-In-Process applications.
